12:00 AM - 3:00 PM Grey Eagle Resort, Tsuut'ina Nation

Post-secondary learners, administrators and instructors are invited to share indigenous culture and understanding.

This program will combine lectures, activities, case studies and round table discussions to contextualize the learners' academic studies and to foster a supportive environment of peers and to provide tools to help ensure the success of their individual academic programs. Program themes include: a dialogue on reconciliation, challenges from the instructors point of view, and cultural resiliency. This program is open to all indigenous learners, full-time and part-time in post-secondary undergraduate (bachelor) or graduate degree programs. This includes the fields of arts, sciences, business, law, education and social work. The program will incorporate a case study challenge with multi-disciplinary teams drawn from each area of study. Accommodation subsidies are available for eligible students. There is no cost to attend. This program is offered by AFOA Alberta and the CPA Education Foundation. The session starts on November 02 at 12:00 noon and is over on November 03 at 3:00 pm. Learners must complete an application for hotel subsidy.
